Connecting and Downloading with the Sony DCR-HC38

I have been trying to figure out how to download my movie to my computer with my new Sony DCR-HC38 Camera with NO success. Here is the trick, you have to have a connect using FireWire. “But it came with a USB Cable?!”, I know, I said that a bunch at 12AM in the morning. Sony provides you with USB connectivity but it has NOTHING to do with downloading video
